Plaque 4: Prings Hall

Prings Hall was built in the mid-15th century and is a fine example of a medieval Wealden ‘hall house’. These houses typically had three bays, but the northernmost one of Prings Hall was demolished in around 1600. The building was sympathetically restored in the 1960s by a private owner.
